Training
I was trained as a labor and postpartum doula at the Seattle Midwifery
School, in Seattle, Washington. I also, have my life experience of raising
two son's to add to my training, as a doula. I volunteer on a regular basis
as a birth doula at the University of Washington Medical Center. I am
certified as a birth and postpartum doula with DONA International
(Doula's Of North America), PALS (Pacific Association for Labor Support),
and NAPS (Northwest Association Postpartum Support).

My Thoughts...
As I reflect, I have been looking for something to nurture and fulfill my
heart. Through being a doula, it fulfills my heart. I cherish the
opportunities to help woman become mothers and men to become fathers.
It is a heart warming and an amazing experience to witness a women,
being empowered by her child's birth. It is a great privilege to be a part
of such a life altering experience in someone's life. I do not take it for
granted. My hope is to help you and your family to realize your potential
of birthing your child and fulfilling some of your dreams of parenthood.
